The Tradition Of Good Sportsmanship

For example, the staff members are not allowed to yell “Fore!” after getting a ball stuck in the turf. How Many Funerals Do They Have To Deal With?
One of the most important traditions at Baltusrol is the burial service. The members are required to hold a minimum of two services a week, one at 10 am and one at 1 pm. The club also hosts a funeral lunch every week for its members. The lunches are usually between 2 and 4 pm and they are a great way to socialize with friends while also remembering those who have passed. It is interesting to note that most of the funerals are for spouses or offspring of members. This is probably because the club’s founder had a very traditional view of marriage. He believed that a man’s job was to provide for his wife and children. Abiding by these values, most of the deceased in this club were buried with their spouse or offspring. Unfortunately, the founder passed away in 1919 and these traditions almost fell by the wayside. During the Great Depression, the club had to close down for a while because there weren’t enough members to keep the club open.
