The Ping G30

This model replaced the PING design’s steel hosel with an aluminium one, smoothing out some of the rough edges that made the G30 distinctive. The result is a club with a slightly different profile, but one that’s just as popular today as its predecessor. Also, the grooves on the face had been relined to create a more consistent, even surface for greater ball speed. These refinements made it possible for golfers to achieve greater distances with their drives – something that had long been a goal of golfers everywhere.
Other clubs modified the shape of the clubhead itself. One example is the Callaway XR-14. This model introduced a streamlined, pear-shaped clubhead that allowed for greater ball speed. The result is a club that offers consistent feel and performance, no matter the terrain!
